SkillsUSA is a national nonprofit organization serving teachers and high school and college students who are preparing for careers in trade, technical and skilled service occupations, including health occupations.
SkillsUSA is the only national organization designed exclusively for students preparing for technical, skilled and leadership careers. It is the student's professional organization. It offers the opportunity for prestige and recognition, and it is the only national organization working full time to create good public attitudes for this specific group of students.

Among the 27,000 high school students surveyed, this “SkillsUSA Advantage” holds true regardless of gender, race/ethnicity or socioeconomic status. SkillsUSA students also reported greater access to expanded opportunities and dramatically improved career-readiness skills.
